Sublimation Of Love

Written in Italian for the theatrical stage in 1964 by Aldo De Benedetti, the script of this play has been translated into different languages and playing in various theaters around the world. "Paola ei leoni" was the orininal name of the play. Under the title of "Sublimatiion of love" it became famous in Russia after translation.

Plot: Senator Leone Savaste, respectable man, occupying a significant position in society, falls in love with an attractive lady, brilliant and intellectual. But it is not as easy to win the love of Paola! She scoffs at Leone, proclaiming his incompetent in love. When Leone was ready to surrender, a homeless writer Pietro enters the life of the Senator and makes an unexpected proposal...

There are only three roles in the play: Paola - Daria Bosaya; Leone Savaste - Nikolai Cherkasov ;
